    In summer, family activities are offered free of charge at Combe à l’Eau campsite. Special events, petanque tournaments, open air sports, and activities in the midst of nature are offered all day long on the campsite throughout the holidays.

    Relax to the murmur of the waves on the soft sandy beaches… No need to go far to enjoy the pleasures of the ocean: the beach is just 50m from the campsite, so you can swim to your heart’s delight! And why not make the most of the opportunity to experience the joys of shellfish gathering and come back to your pitch to enjoy your booty of clams, crabs, and shrimp.

    All across the island, the many swimming, sailing, surfing and water sports centres make the Ile de Ré a fantastic destination for enjoying water sports of all kinds as a family. You can try out dinghy sailing, paddle boarding, catamaraning, surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, and sea kayaking… Or if you are seasoned at extreme sports and love adrenaline-fuelled thrills, the northwest / southeast orientation of the Ile de Ré makes it an ideal destination for high-level water sports.

    Before taking another dip in the water, there are all sorts of land-based activities for you to enjoy: with all its little paths, the island lends itself perfectly to cycling, but you can also enjoy a game of tennis or mini-golf, or explore the forest and beaches on horseback, mountain bike or Fat Bike. Or if you fancy riding out at sea itself, a jet ski trip is a must!
